When people come together in groups, our power to co-create change and energy is amplified, and we generate inspiration and action for transformation, healing, and innovation. It is essential, that the essence of the Sacred Feminine and the Sacred Masculine be in balance and harmony to succeed in Conscious Leadership for the visionaries of the Universal Consciousness.

We are living in a time of great transformation and awakening consciousness. Human society is emerging into a new development level, awakening to who we are in relation to our ancestors, planet, and universe. We are at a pivotal cycle in time in which we must expand and emerge from the womb and birth ourselves anew, breathing new life into our role here today in the universe. The Sacred Feminine is an energy for Conscious Leaders of today to cultivate within themselves, in union with the Sacred Masculine.

The aspects of the Sacred Feminine in Conscious Leadership today are arising today in many forms through Stewardship, Mentoring, Intuition, Spirituality, Sustainability, Healing, Weaving Communities Together, and Authenticity.

One aspect of the Sacred Feminine in Conscious Communities and Work is the co-creation of circles. When we gather together in circles, we meet each other as equal participants in a womb container. The circle as womb represents and holds space for the mothering qualities to bring people together, bond us, and help us to see each other eye-to-eye - as family. Sitting in circles, gathering in women's circles, sharing family dinners, and talking together stimulates the release of oxytocin, the hormone of love.

The power of circles is infinite and eternal. Gathering with community, family, friends, and women in circles holds the key for co-creative community evolution leading the way to new Earth culture. Do you participate or host birth circles, women's circles, family dinners, community potlucks, dance in circles, or gather in other circles for visioning, healing, and sharing? I am continuously inspired by the upliftment, connections, inspiration and healing that occurs when we gather together in circles to listen. This is true grassroots power!

Wild Feminine Book By Tami Lynn Kent

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/03/wild-feminine-book-by-tami-lynn-kent.html

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/03/wild-feminine-book-by-tami-lynn-kent.html#comments

Uncategorized

 [...]

Wild Feminine is a book of visionary women's health - integrating physical health and vitality with the emotions, energy, and spirit of the feminine. Tami Lynn Kent has created a wonderful book to guide women through deepening awareness, health, and self-care of their sacred feminine pelvic energy. Through Tami's extensive work as a physical therapist who has developed a unique integrative modality of Holistic Pelvic Care for balancing women's pelvic health she has written this book as a resource for women everywhere to learn powerful self-care techniques.

I met Tami at the Association for Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH) Congress in San Diego, CA in 2005 where we were both speaking. I was intrigued by the name of her book "Wild Feminine" which was yet to be published. Tami lives in Portland, OR and I lived in Eugene, OR for five years working as a craniosacral therapist and birth doula. I have heard glowing testimonials from women who have experienced Tami's healing work and how transformational it has been in healing imbalances from incontinence to postpartum pelvic pain. If you are a woman in the greater Portland region - check out Tami's private practice in Holistic Pelvic Care for a gentle therapeutic approach to deep health.

Wild Feminine is now recently released in it's second edition by the publisher of "The Secret" and with enhanced activities and practices by Tami for all women. Since I received this book and began reading it I have personally recommended it to many women - and want to recommend it to all of you too! I believe Tami is on the leading edge of holistic women's health and that this book should be widely available to all women.

Wild Feminine guides women to access the infinite creative energy potential of the womb and pelvic bowl through meditation, visualizations, journaling, ritual, intention, awareness, and self massage. For any women who is experiencing imbalance in their sexual health, pelvic floor health, creativity, and vitality, as well as women who are postpartum - this is a rich resource for guiding you to tap into your core power.

Find out more at www.wildfeminine.com

Womb Gnosis

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/02/womb-gnosis.html

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/02/womb-gnosis.html#comments

Uncategorized

Diving into the luminous darkness of womb consciousness there is a fee [...]

Diving into the luminous darkness of womb consciousness there is a feeling of ecstatic surrender. The release of mental ideas of control or power gives way to a deep primal source of infinite potential. Spiraling into the sensations of the womb there we find our greatest source of strength, wisdom, energy, and power as women.

The womb is a holographic portal, a vessel for the physical manifestation of a woman's co-creative power for creativity, healing, and evolutionary purposes. Through the gateway of our female wombs we can tap into the well of creation - and receive transmissions, messages, energy, and inspiration from our womb, as well as from the Earth Womb (the Womb of the World), the Galactic Womb (the Hunab Ku), and the Universal Womb (the Great Central Sun).

Activating the womb is unfamiliar territory for most women today as the arts and wisdom of the Sacred Feminine have been suppressed and hidden for thousands of years. To be fully centered and anchored from within a fully activated womb provides a deep flow of vitality and energy to create a balanced, visionary, passionate life and be successful at whatever you put your energy consciously toward creating.

To truly tap into our full womb energy is to access an infinite creative generator and our personal direct link to the Source of Creation. Here we can experience Womb Gnosis - the direct knowing of wisdom received from the womb, or the direct downloading of information, messages, and energy from Source through the gateway of our Womb. This is a profound gift to all, an opportunity to step beyond the collective consciousness to receive vital fresh new energy directly channeled from Source. For women to experience Womb Gnosis and for men to co-create with women who are fully anchored in their authentic feminine power is the key to conscious evolution.

Past intimate experiences are all recorded in the cellular memories of the womb - unless the womb is cleared and released of old energetic cords, patterns, and imprints. Without a clear womb, energies from old relationships may cloud and complicate subsequent relationships for years. Women - clear thy womb! Men - release old energetic connections to past partners!

Conscious clearing the womb regularly is a wonderful practice to begin connecting deeper to the womb energy and will free up immense vital energy. Powerful ways to clear the womb are meditation, ceremony, consciously cutting energetic cords, womb breathing, dance, lying upon the bare earth, journaling, creating womb art, bodywork, and using conscious clear affirmations and declarations.

The womb holds the codes for co-creation - the Sacred Union of the Divine Masculine and Sacred Feminine for new ideas, living energies, and visionary consciousness. To effectively access and harness the full potential of womb consciousness, women and men must honor and respect the womb. We must nourish our wombs, pay attention and tune in daily to our wombs. and keep the energy clear and flowing in our wombs.

Be a Conscious Birth Emissary!

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/02/be-a-conscious-birth-emissary.html

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2011/02/be-a-conscious-birth-emissary.html#comments

Uncategorized

 [...]

Become a Conscious Birth Emissary!

Be an Advocate for Mothers, Babies, and Families

Empower Families with Healing Arts Education for Conscious Birth

Mentor Families in Your Community

Host Conscious Birth & Conscious Parenting Circles

Support Mothers and Babies during Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum

Be a Leader in Bringing Light to the New Paradigm of Birth

Become a Certified Conscious Birth Emissary and join a global network of birth visionaries and advocates!

Enrollment is now open for the Conscious Birth Emissary Training! Women healers served their communities through midwifery, spiritual healing, nutritional and herbal healing, massage, hands on healing, prayer, ritual, dance, song, music, toning, and dreaming. Wise women healers offered healing support for their communities through ceremony and nurturing care from birth to death, from “womb to tomb”.

The healing ways of women have been demonstrated in every culture around the globe by traditional women healers, herbalists, and midwives. Women have been practicing the arts of midwifery and healing for thousands of years. In earlier human culture, women healers were honored for their sacred feminine healing arts. In times of oppression, patriarchal religions have targeted women healers and midwives.

Women have always gathered together during times of hardship, illness, menstruation, and birthing. In traditional cultures around the globe, female healers are an integral part of the community, and arose out of the community of women, through gaining experience and respect. Traditional midwives learn their healing craft from elder women in the community, often a mother, grandmother, aunt, or neighbor, thus weaving a web of women’s wisdom that connects the community of women and holds together the whole tribe of men, women, and children.

The traditional female healer blends knowledge of herbs and midwifery with cultural and cosmological beliefs. The interweaving of art, science, and spirituality creates a holistic model of care that nurtures and empowers the body, mind, and spirit. There are women healers and midwives from every culture around the world.

She is known as the village healer, priestess, herbalist, midwife, wise woman, or shaman.

She is the South African sangoma, the Hispanic curandera, the South Asian dai and Dyamaju, the Mayan granny healer, the Appalachian granny midwife, the French sagefemme, the Japanese samba, and the Polish babka.

Midwifery is the healing art of being ‘with woman’ and healers of the sacred feminine are the true midwives.

Women's healing arts are founded upon a deep connection to nature and an honoring of the human body. Women’s sexuality is valued as a healing, empowering, vital, and integral power.

It is time for all humans to awaken to the experience that we are co-creators of our life, reality, and universe.

Each thought, feeling, action, intention, and prayer you make influences your world, your health, your body, your children, and your planet. We are all part of one world, one universal womb, one universal family, and each breath we take is a biodynamic interchange with the holographic matrix of living energy.

The time is now to spiral to the next stage of evolution, beyond procreation of humanity and nature vs. nurture. It is now the age of co-creation with nature, spirit, love, and consciousness for the birth of a new paradigm of healing, birthing, living, and learning.

Shamanic Midwifery

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2010/12/shamanic-midwifery.html

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2010/12/shamanic-midwifery.html#comments

Uncategorized

The Greek Goddess Maia is the Goddess of Midwifery, and one of the Sev [...]

The Greek Goddess Maia is the Goddess of Midwifery, and one of the Seven Sisters, represented by the stars of the Pleiades, who are also known as the Seven Midwives. Maia was was said to be the grandmother of magic as she was the mother of Hermes, the winged messenger and Greek god of magic. Maia lived in a cave, on the top of a mountain, reserved from civilization, where she midwifed and healed those who came to her. Maia is an ancient archetype of the shamanic midwife and the female shaman.

The shaman traditionally lives on the edge of civilization, where spirit and nature touch. The shaman seeks wisdom and healing from nature, the cosmos, and the more-than-human world. Healing comes from our soul, and medicine come from nature and spirit through dreams, visions, art, song, and divine transformation.

Shamanic midwifery is the ancient healing art of soul birthing. It is traditional midwifery in the deepest sense. The tools of the shamanic midwife are spiritual counseling, transformational ritual, drumming, dance, song, toning, chanting, massage, hands-on healing, herbs, bathing, and prayer. Through theses healing arts that blend traditional medicine with indigenous spirituality, the midwife supports the balance of the body, heart, and soul with nature, spirit, and the planet.

Through education, self-empowerment, and natural healing, and spiritual awakening women and men are guided to midwife themselves - to bring to light the healing and creative power within.

In childbirth, the women midwife themselves, while supported physically, psychological, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and socially by their loved ones and the shamanic midwives who are called by spirit to clear the path and hold the circle for souls to be born in whole health, peacefully, gracefully, and aware.

The hands of the shamanic midwife and the divine love of Source, are always available for the laboring and ill, but the focus is upon supporting the individual through the self-actualization of their soul’s higher purpose, guidance, and divine journey.

The midwife sits in the corner singing, drumming, or doing handiwork while the birthing women moans with the expansive rushes of labor. She waits patiently, honored the baby’s gentle passage, holding the sacred circle for the women to transform into mother and the baby’s soul to become deeply rooted in the baby’s body and extremely sensitive nervous system.

With a deep understanding of birth ecology, and using the five elements to balance and ease labor, the midwife prepares the warm water bath for the mother. The alchemical transformation of fire and water create the warm bath to ease the mama’s pains. She massages herbal oil on the mothers back, transforming her muscles from tense to relaxed. She tones, sings, and breathes with the mama nurturing her with ancient wisdom and effective healing techniques while she cooperates in the intimate dance of life with her baby.

The shamanic midwife provides care for women in all the cycles of sexuality - menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy and birth, and menopause, as well as providing massage, herbs, and spiritual healing for community health, and easing the discomfort of the dying. Traditional midwives and wise women healers provided care throughout the whole cycle of life, through birth, childhood, adolescence, maturity, procreation, and death.

Shamanism is a practice founded upon ecological philosophy in which seekers open to wisdom of the natural living world. Trance journeying enables a shaman to cross the threshold into transpersonal consciousness to learn healing, divination, or sacred knowledge. Trance states are induced through dance, drumming, psychotropic plants, breathwork, and meditation, as well as naturally achieved by women through the blood mysteries. In matrifocal cultures, there was no distinction between midwives and shamans. It was in later times that male healers became known as shamans or physicians, while women healers were given the title of witch or midwife.

Shamanic healers travel between the fabric of the physical world and the spiritual and psychic worlds that are interwoven within our living existence.

The shamanic midwife is a doorkeeper. The wise woman midwife taught the other women the mystery of their blood. She taught the younger women of herbs and how to heal. She rubbed their bellies while pregnant, and held their hands while dying. A doorkeeper is a healer and visionary. A doorkeeper mediates the balance between the human community and the greater living earth. She teaches and guides so that others may be guides, healers, and storytellers.

Vicki Noble, a teacher of female shamanism, writes in Shakti Woman that the earliest human paintings found depict pregnant women in states of ecstasy and spirit journeying. Circa 30,000 B.C., they are sheltered deep within an underground maze, in the caverns of Pech-Merle in Spain. The pregnant female figures are bird-headed and headless. The headless woman represents ecstasy, while the bird headed woman represents spirit journeying. The figures embody shamanic consciousness through their divine connection between the earth and spirit. The full belly and pendulous breasts of the figures illustrate the life giving power of the Goddess.

The Goddess - God-us - God - Source - Spirit - Matrix - Universe - Nature - Energy - this divine force exists within our bodies, heart, spirit, and infinite space - it is the field that connects us to everything else in the universe.

Conscious Fertility

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2010/11/conscious-fertility.html

http://www.sacredfemme.com/1/post/2010/11/conscious-fertility.html#comments

Uncategorized

Conscious Fertility is the state of oneness with universal creativity an [...]

Conscious Fertility is the state of oneness with universal creativity and abundance. When we are fertile, we are ripe with infinite creative possibilities, including access to divine guidance, dreams, creative visions, and sexual health. Maintaining and nourishing our reproductive and endocrine systems leads to optimal fertility and enhanced vitality of the body, mind, heart, and spirit. Women and men both gain increased health, creativity, and sensuality from tonifying their fertile energy.

A balanced and healthy fertility leads to greater self awareness and the ability to consciously understand one's fertility to be able to avoid pregnancy or consciously conceive. Fertility is not simply the ability to conceive a child, it is the openness to possibility and the healthy flow and function of the bodies cyclical energies. The healthy reproductive and endocrine systems contribute to whole body health, energy, and emotional balance, and whether or not one plans to have a child, maintaining healthy fertility increase overall vitality and longevity.

Conscious Fertility is knowing your cycles and consciously reading your signs of fertility to know your daily fertility rhythms and where you are in your cycle. There are many signs of fertility in a woman, including changes in your basal body temperature, cervical mucus, and cervical position to assess where one is in the monthly cycle and whether one is fertile, infertile, or possible fertile. The Fertility Awareness Method is a great system to study to learn all about the female fertility cycles and how to keep track and read your fertility signals.

An excellent tool available is fertility microscopes, a lipstick sized microscope to track your fertility signals. Simply lick the small glass piece and look at the patterns in your saliva once it has dried. The saliva and cervical fluid both change together during the fertile cycle, and when a woman is fertile the dried saliva creates a visible ferning pattern in the microscope. When a woman is not fertile there is not a pattern in the fluid. This is a small easy tool that is inexpensive and will last for years, and is invaluable in letting a woman know where she is in her cycle within five minutes.

A research project at Stanford University women revealed that less than 30% of the polled women knew when they were fertile. The fact is that women are only fertile for a few days each menstrual cycle. Through accurate identification you can use this knowledge to achieve or avoid pregnancy. You can also recognize your body's own unique and individual patterns of health, emotions, and symptoms corresponding to cyclical changes in fertility.

Fertility cycles are influenced by light. In pre-industrialized times, without artificial lights, women would all bleed together at the New Moon and ovulate at the Full Moon. The increased light from the Full Moon induces ovulation through the light sensitivity of the pituitary and pineal glands. The pineal gland produces more melatonin when it is dark. Melatonin depresses the functions of the gonads, thus decreases fertility. You can induce ovulation through the practice of Lunaception by sleeping in total dark for all of the month, except the 3 days of the Full Moon sleep with no curtains in the light of the moon. This is an effective way to regulate menstrual cycles and ovulation timing.

Fertility can be enhanced through nutrition, herbs, exercise, meditation, gentle bodywork, and visualization. Healthy fat and cholesterol is an essential component of a fertility diet. Cholesterol is the precursor to all hormone production in the body. Excellent sources of healthy fats is butter and dairy from pastured grass-fed animals, pastured eggs, wild Alaskan salmon, and raw organic coconut oil. Cutting out sugar, caffeine, and soy products can also increase the health of the endocrine system, reduce symptoms of menopause & PMS, and regulate fertility. There are many herbs to increase fertility including red clover, nettles, red raspberry leaf, and dong quai for women, and also ginseng, saw palmetto, fo ti, damiana, and maca for men. There are many effective and natural non-pharmaceutical fertility enhancements for both men and women. Find a local herbalist or natural health practitioner to assist you in adding effective herbal brews and nutrition to your lifestyle.

Conscious fertility is for all women to recognize and honor your cycles for personal achievement, creative focus, emotional health, as well as to achieve or avoid pregnancy. Understanding your place in your cycle provides insight on possibility of conception, as well as where to focus your creative energy in your life, work, and relationships. Conscious Fertility is an essential tool in taking control of your body and health.

Know thy cycles and harness your creative power!

Resources:

Fertility Awareness, Food, and Night Lighting
Taking Charge of Your Fertility
Printable Fertility Charts
Fertile Focus Fertility Microscope
